Automotive Electronics

Automotive Electronics can withstand commercial (The general) The more extreme temperature range of electrons, they are also rated as automotive electronics, most electrical products are manufactured at several temperature levels, Each manufacturer has defined its own temperature ration, so designers and engineers must pay close attention to the actual specifications of the product datasheet.

The following list is the temperature ration/Examples of levels. Please note that the car level is second only to the military level(In terms of extreme temperature quotas):

  • Commercial Grade:0℃~85℃
  • Industrial Grade:-40℃~100℃
  • Car Grade:-40℃~125℃:Military Grade:-55℃~125℃。

Now you may ask, why not use military grade in all applications?

The answer is simple: cost. It is certain that the cost will increase as the component temperature quota increases, sometimes it even increases dramatically.

However, in addition to special temperature quotas, components labeled “Automotive Electronics” refer to those components that are designed or modified for use in automotive applications. Such applications include Car computers(Carputer), Remote information processing(telematics)and infotainment systems.
